It's a First!
Yay! Sorry I had to blog about it because it's made me happy to know that another year of hard work has paid off!

The Man in Seat Sixty-One...
This is a must visit website for anyone who may want information about travelling just about anywhere via train or boat.
What this man doesn't know about train travel isn't worth knowing! The website is (as far as I can tell) accurate and the information, including photographs and links to youtube videos, is incredibly helpful. No need to go searching yourself for further information when using this site. No wonder the site has been voted among the best travel sites by The Guardian and Observer, The Times and Wanderlust Travel Awards, to name a few.
Mark Smith is obviously a very well travelled man and long may he continue to provide such insightful and thorough advice to those not wanting to rely on air travel alone.

Graze - Nature Delivered
I happened upon graze.com when looking through studentbeans.com earlier today. Unfortunately for me I was hungry when I found it however, the snacks on the site are all supposed to be healthy and even look quite appetising. Needless to say, I will be awaiting the delivery of my first snack box on Monday! Yummeh!
Here is what Graze has to say about its School of Farming:
"Our school of farming teaches locals how to grow fruit trees in deprived rural Uganda. The project provides local students with tuition, tools and support to start their own orchards. The school invigorates poor rural areas by improving nutrition (the diet in these areas is generally very poor), increasing productivity from the land, empowering locals and providing a source of income.."
